Week of Guided Prayer

13-18 March 2022

Do you want to make this Lent different and explore more ways of prayer with the goal of deepening your relationship with our loving Father? If so, this may be for you.

St John XXIII and the Ignatian Spiritual Community in Geneva are offering this Lent a week of guided prayer. During this time, you are invited to deepen your prayer time.  The prayer material will be specifically selected for you, and you will meet with your prayer guide on a 1:1 basis.

The commitment from participants in this week is:

• 30 minutes intentional and focussed prayer each day of the retreat
• 30 minutes conversation about the prayer with a guide each day of the retreat
• Participate in the Introductory Session for 45 mins on Sunday 13 March.
  (You can do this either online or face to face at St John XXIII.)
• Participate in the Closing session for 45 mins on 18 March.
  (You can do this either online or face to face at St John XXIII.)

Start date: Sunday 13 March at 18.00 -19.30 CET

Daily meetings: Monday, 14 -18 March, time will be agreed between yourself and your guide

Closing meeting:  Friday, 18 March at 18.00-19.30 CET

Format: Either Face to Face at St John XXIII Geneva or Online

Donation: Suggested donation of CHF 50.   Everyone is welcome however and please do not let the suggested amount prevent you from joining. Pay what you can afford for the week to either St John XXIII or ISC Geneva. If you find the retreat is worth more than the suggested amount and you can afford the extra donation, your contributions are very much appreciated.
