Couples for Christ (CFC) A Private International Association of the Faithful of Pontifical Right, COUPLES FOR CHRIST (CFC) is a Catholic movement intended for the renewal and strengthening of Christian family life.We are a Catholic, charismatic movement working for the renewal and strengthening of Christian family life. We are defined by our core values: Pro-God, Pro-Family; Pro-Life and Pro-Poor. We want to help bring back that “missing sheep” to the Lord’s pasture and the prodigal son back to the Father. We will be a 2nd family helping each of us along Christ’s way. In addition to regular small group prayer meetings and large group assemblies, we hold Teaching Nights, Enrichment Retreats (for Married Couples, Singles, Youth and Kids), etc… all leading towards a deepening relationship with our Lord. We also help pursue the alleviation of the plight of the poor through our ANCOP (Answering the Cry of the Poor) ministry and our social development programmes. CFC is present in many countries all over the world. We are recognized by the Vatican and we have a representative office in Rome. Our leaders from CFC’s Global Mission Centre in Manila regularly participate in the World Meeting of Families in Rome. Cursillo This Spanish word means “little course” – so Cursillo is a short course in Christianity. It’s a Catholic worldwide movement which began in Spain in 1945. It’s extra special in Geneva because it’s ecumenical – uniting the 9 english-speaking churches here. Cursillo is a three-day experience of inspiring presentations, lively discussions, prayer and laughter aimed at awakening people to their calling as Christians. Just ask one of our parishioners – it’s one of the “best life experiences ever”. It’s not a retreat. . . it’s an advance. Please call Mary Bernasconi mary[at]befund.com.
