Super Follower Retreat

The WORD Spring Retreat, SUPER FOLLOWER Retreat, Sunday, 22 April; 10:30-18:00

This 22 April, we will have our Spring WORD retreat for all students ages 11-14. We will begin with a joint WORD session at 10:30 and will attend the 11:30 mass together. Afterwards, we will have lunch, a few talks and activities here at the John XXIII parish centre, followed by a rousing Go-Karting race at “ON’KART” in Annemasse.
Our Retreat theme is “Super Follower”, which centers on what it looks like to be a true disciple of Jesus Christ instead of a “Superhero” by the world’s standards.
We ask each family to contribute one lunch item for our shared meal. Ideas are: Pasta bake, baked/fried chicken, pizza, finger sandwiches, salad, desserts etc.
We are also looking for volunteers to drive people to Go-Karting in Annemasse at 15:30.
ON’KART = 14 Rue des Buchillons, 74100 Ville-la-Grand, France. Pick-up will be back at John XXIII at 18 :00.

If your child has never before attended a retreat, encourage him/her to come along. It is a wonderful way to deepen their bond with classmates whilst also deepening their faith understanding.
