Update on Mass Restrictions

To enter Church for weekend Mass, you MUST be in possession of a COVID Passport, this can be obtained via the APP on your phone or by having a printed certificate.

NBthis is applicable for everyone from 16 years and upwards.

The COVID Certificate is available to anyone who is either VaccinatedRecovered from COVID or who has tested Negative (PCR).

For those who do not have a certificate on their phone or have been vaccinated outside the Canton of Geneva, you can apply in the official website of Geneva.


Reservations are no longer required to attend Masses. However, there are occupancy limits for Mass attendance 250 at St Nicolas de Flue and 400 at Notre Dame ( Sunday Eve), and social distancing is still required.

All attendees (12 and over) must wear a face mask during holy mass, no exceptions.

Hand sanitisation must take place before entering the church.

The pews will be sanitised after every Mass.

Inside the church, no standing alongside the wall of the church is permitted.


Please do not attend if:

You are ill or you have a health condition that would be significantly compromised if you were to contract a communicable illness (i.e., you have underlying conditions or are in a high-risk category). Please use the dispensation and do not attend Mass.

You are experiencing flu-like symptoms.

You have been exposed to someone who has tested positive or you have reason to think you might be asymptomatic of a contagious illness.

You care for the sick, homebound, or infirm.

You have significant fear or anxiety of becoming ill by being at Mass.
